A lower score represents a faster brain. As shown in the graph below, if you scored 30 ms or less, your brain is probably capable of capturing most of what it hears even when the speech is very rapid or takes place in a noisy environment—such as a crowded restaurant.

If you scored 120 ms or more, chances are that your brain has trouble catching the details of everything you hear. That doesn’t mean you can’t understand what you hear when you hear it.
